The Office of Nonprofit Engagement (ONE), part of the firm’s Corporate Responsibility group, contributes to this mission by fostering long-term relationships with stakeholders involved in advocacy, thought leadership and service to low- and moderate-income and other economically vulnerable communities.


ONE is seeking a Community Relations Manager (CRM) for the Southeast Region, based in Miami, FL. CRMs are responsible for the development and execution of a strategic stakeholder engagement model in their region, working closely with key partners from Corporate Responsibility and lines of business to strengthen the firm’s position as a force for driving inclusive economic growth. This includes managing a grant portfolio with a focus on strengthening nonprofit capacity; representing the firm in the community; identifying and managing reputational risk; and cultivating forums to promote dialogue between the firm and key stakeholders.


Best-in-class CRMs have deep relationships with key community influencers such as advocates, policy and civic organizations; a thorough understanding of the complex interdependencies of large financial services organizations and the communities they serve; and strong knowledge of tools to strengthen the infrastructure of the nonprofit sector.


  • 6 – 10 years’ experience in community relations, grantmaking and/or community/economic development

  • Ability to represent the firm at events and in meetings with community leaders, advocates, and other influential stakeholders

  • Thought leader and subject matter expertise on issues that impact the Firm’s reputation and business operations

  • Ability to travel regularly throughout Region to meet with key stakeholders, represent the Firm and attend events

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Integrity and strong work ethic

  • Proven ability to multi-task in an intense, fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team and take the initiative to follow up as needed

  • Desire to seek information and look for new approaches to processes and practices
