As an SRE engineer you will be part of the operations team responsible for investigating incidents, provide solutions and build robust automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce response & recovery times which would involve a wide variety of solutions from simple scripts to complex application features, reports and dashboards and leverage Robotics where applicable.

 

Responsibilities

·         Identify opportunities, design and build solutions to improve efficiency of operations

·         Resolving incidents for systems in production (Voice & Voice recording)

·         Work as hands-on operations engineer as required

·         Building new and redeveloping existing applications to include new features, bug fixes and APIs

·         Design and development of scalable applications / toolsets for automation, reporting, metadata, NTFS permissions, data migrations etc

·         Perform technical log analysis, identify root cause, implement preventive measures

·         Work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Requirements

·         BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

·         8+ years of software development experience 

·         Proven working experience in Software Development, Production Engineering, Operations

·         Experience with Agile Methodologies, Pair Programming, CI and Test Driven Development

·         Expertise in application, data and infrastructure disciplines

·         Knowledge of Voice and Voice recording applications (preferred)

·         Design and build advanced web applications, APIs.

·         Expert knowledge of OOPs & Java, Python, Power Shell

·         Work with outside data sources and API’s, Rest/SOAP APIs

·         Experience in XHTML/HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, XML, JSON, or other Web technologies is a great plus.

·         Very good debugging skills to solve complex problems without much assistance.

·         Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.  

·         Working knowledge of application integration, collaboration, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

·         A passion for creative solutions for difficult problems

·         Very strong technical, analytical, problem solving, written and verbal skills
