JP Morgan Asset & Wealth Management provides Investment solutions to Institutional, Retail, and High Net Worth clients. Our business is built around providing clients with investment solutions that meet their needs in an increasingly complex environment.  We have expertise across all major asset classes and regions.  We provide world class services to our clients from a global platform. The Asset Management Finance Associate position directly supports the North America Institutional business which serves Endowments & Foundations, Retirement Funds and Insurance Companies. The Asset Management Finance and Business Management organization acts as a strategic partner to the sales business.

                   
Role Description
  • Support a global sales force with strong regional differences and different market dynamics
  • Gain an understanding of the Asset Management industry and JPMAM’s product offering and solutions capabilities
  • Assist Sales Channel finance heads with planning and forecasting, routine reporting, and client advisor metrics
  • Team members have the opportunity to work directly with the finance leads for all asset classes and distribution channels (Institutional and Funds), and Sales Senior Management on internal presentations
  • Partner with stakeholders across Asset Management including Sales, Strategy, Business Management, Client Account Managers, and others
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and review of the sales activity for the Americas Institutional & Global Insurance business
  • Ensure that financial reports, forecasts and planning activities are properly reviewed through monthly control processes
  • Partner with business management on supporting their activities by providing them with financial drivers, on ensuring completeness of the reporting, on building budget and outlook
  • Respond to adhoc requests from a variety of internal teams
  • Own and maintain weekly sales channel reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Drive key business initiatives for the business that contribute to future growth
  • Directly partner with the North America Institutional sales teams by providing client analysis and CRM support
  • Manage monthly scorecards for sales team to measure individual sales targets and metrics

Qualifications:       
  • 3-5+ years experience in Financial Services
  • Bachelors degree, with major in Accounting/Economics/Finance preferred
  • Strong technical skills – must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPro (experience with Access database, VBA, Business Objects, Salesforce a plus)
  • Superior organizational and communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while still delivering a quality product
  • Strong team player that can bring together multiple groups of people across a variety of functions
