Position Title: Analyst: Event Planner
Location: London, UK
The analyst: event planner is a key integral component of the Private Bank EMEA events team and will assist in all aspects of client event activities. The main responsibility of the role is to work with and support the event managers in creating and executing client events from beginning to end. In addition to supporting the events team on event related responsibilities the event coordinator will maintain calendars, databases and supplier/venue information. The coordinator will primarily focus on the PB EMEA markets but can be involved in large events targeting a global client base. The job demands interaction with colleagues on the EMEA regional event team, Global event team, marketing, PB EMEA market managers, bankers and product partners. The event team’s goals are to help PB EMEA markets increase client business/deepen existing client relationships, create and drive efficiencies for internal partners and maintain the J.P. Morgan brand standard in all events. Highly pressurised position, demanding accuracy, long hours and some local and international travel.
Experience in marketing and event management related activities in financial, professional services or luxury brands
Must think strategically; identifies issues and finds a creative solution
Must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Prior experience in data and budget management
Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability prioritise workloads to meet internal client demands
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills
Ability to demonstrate utmost discretion and professionalism at all times
Committed and enthusiastic in approach and flexible attitude towards working hours and travel
Strong team player
Proficiency in Excel, Word & Power Point
