Drive and support DevOps principles across the Merchant Services organization while implementing processes and toolsets that streamline and automate software build, deployment and delivery. Aid in implementing frameworks and tools which support our Agile adoption initiatives, strive in providing a holistic viewpoint of all pipelines across the Merchant Services space. Continue to refine source code management policies, strategizing on best practices for ongoing parallel development, feature branching, merging and common library management.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • SME for DevOps principals and adoption in a holistic, consistent fashion across the business line.
  • Help set and drive source code management principals and automation as it pertains to our Agile transformation directives.
  • Partner with our Chief Development Office in target toolset/process alignment specific to software delivery.
  • Determine, set and execute to committed scheduled for target toolset adoption.
  • Partner with the Development teams in driving target toolset adoption across Merchant Services
  • Support all compliance related requirements for applications managed by the team (ACA, ARCs, audits, etc...).
  • Implement frameworks which aid in the automation of code compliance tollgates; code quality / security scanning.
  • Support the Development and QA teams in the promotion of application change from development to production and the continuous refinement of our release management practices and automation which supports it.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related working experience and 5+ years experience in software development.
  • Experience with scripting and/or programming languages such as Perl, Python, Unix shell, Java/J2EE and/or C#/.NET
  • Strong understanding of automation techniques and tools related to the SDLC such as JIRA, Jenkins, Bamboo, Puppet, Maven, MSBuild.
  • Strong understanding of source control tools such as BitBucket/GIT, TFS, CVS along with parallel development techniques and automation.
  • Strong understanding of all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on Agile and Continuous Delivery.
  • Strong organizational communication and documentation skills.
