This role is part of JPMorgan’s Global Compliance Surveillance team covering trade and electronic communications surveillance strategy and development. Responsibilities include:

  • Working with global surveillance and technology stakeholders on new and enhanced surveillances including defining requirements, conducting analysis, and supporting the implementation of related processes and procedures.
  • Leading Compliance Surveillance efforts to enhance, develop and/or leverage new technologies including natural language processing and machine learning.
  • Acting as a central point of contact between Compliance Surveillance and Technology on new initiatives, enhancements and defects.
  • Engage with senior management within the front office, legal and compliance, technology, audit and other stakeholders on surveillance development and requirements, new business initiatives and other areas.
  • Driving efforts to facilitate consistency and strong governance/documentation across the Compliance Surveillance program globally.

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years of compliance, regulatory, or related financial industry experience with extensive knowledge of industry rules and regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, CFTC, FCA) and market structure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills and superior ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
