As an experienced Software Engineer, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Identify bottlenecks in application and work with AD team to fix those permanently.
  • Implement Data archiving and purging strategies.
  • Capacity planning.
  • Involve in tech refresh, recommend best server configuration suitable for application.
  • Contribute to the technical code and design documentation
  • Conduct code reviews and ensuring quality solutions are built and tested
  • Identify and implement improvements to products
Technical skills:
  • Hands on 12+ years of experience with the latest database technologies, primarily Oracle.
  • Hands on 12+ years of experience as a Database Administrator and must have managed very large databases on at least 10TB in size.
  • Hands on 8+ years of experience with database troubleshooting, performance tuning & capacity planning.
  • Hands on experience with Oracle Backup & recovery methods, Data Guard setup and Oracle Real Applications Clusters (RAC).
  • Hands on experience with SaaS architecture, scale, security and operations.
  • Hands on experience with application and data security, data management and systems to systems integration.
  • Hands on schema design experience.
  • Good understanding of Oracle internals such as SGA, PGA, Sorting Area and Tablespace Arrangement.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and stored procedures.
  • Hands on experience with various operating system like Linux, AIX, Solaris, Windows.
  • Should be familiar with shell scripting.
  • Good understanding of servers and storage.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to be highly effective with both internal and external contacts.
  • Experience working in distributed team model.
  • Experience in configuration and change management processes, working with stakeholders and end-users , projects in multiple technologies and functions.
