The J.P. Morgan Metals & Mining Equity Research is seeking for new member to join the Brazil group, based in São Paulo. The Equity Research team is responsible for making equity investment recommendations to its institutional clients based on fundamental analysis. We look for someone with strong appetite for learning and deep commitment with the upcoming duties. By the end of the internship we expect the candidate to be able to analyze, substantiate and well communicate its investment convictions.


Responsibilities include:

  • Tracking industry data and key fundamentals;
  • Updating and enhancing discounted cash flow models;
  • Writing and developing new reports analyzing the most updated industry trends;
  • Generating ideas and discussing investment recommendations with the team;
  • Participating in events with main companies, manager and investors.

  • Students of Management, Economics, Engineering and Accounting.
  • Graduation in December 2019 or later;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel (search and “IF” formulas are mandatory; VBA not required but desirable);
  • Knowledge of accounting is mandatory;
  • Knowledge of valuation methods can make the difference;
  • We look for someone updated on the current domestic and international macro outlook.
