The Catalyst Product Manager is responsible partnering with the Catalyst Sales Force Effectiveness Leader to set the strategic direction for the processes, technology and data required to support the current and future needs of the Commercial Bank’s sales organization. The Product Manager will be a key point of contact between the Sales Force Effectiveness Leader and the Technology organization to translate the strategic business objectives into Catalyst program requirements and develop an executable project roadmap. This role will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Bank sales transformation efforts by launching a new CRM, implementing sales enabling technology and providing actionable data & analytics to the sales organization. Another primary focus of this role is to deliver process and platform improvements that ensure the best return from the overall business (sales or customer) ecosystem. You will ensure that maximum business value is consistently reflected in a well maintained backlog that reflects prioritization based on the key business drivers of improving operational efficiency to drive revenue and increase customer engagement. Project Catalyst is one of the five major investments aligned to the Commercial Bank 2020 transformation agenda.  The goal of this multiyear effort is to deliver a best in class experience for our customers and our employees.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Sales Force Effectiveness Transformation Leaders to understand business vision; ensure that the technology team understands the vision for the system and are aligned around the key measures of success.
  • Define product capabilities and prioritization working collaboratively with the sub LOB businesses and Project Catalyst cross functional team to ensure a unified product roadmap
  • Defining and managing complex projects across multiple application platforms (SalesForce and proprietary systems) partnering with multiple stakeholders across multiple lines of business
  • Work in partnership with the Technology team to deliver solutions with an equal focus on the operational/business models as well as the technology solution
  • Ensure that requirements meet the complex global nature of the business while always taking into account the end-to-end impact of any changes
  • Define and develop solutions for key initiatives on the Catalyst roadmap, working closely with the Transformation Leader and Technology team to prioritize implementation.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, supporting key commercial stakeholders in the development and qualification of business requirements, procuring internal buy-in for product concepts, and delivering concise product definitions in the form of specification
  • Conduct detailed analysis in order to prioritize the development backlog while ensuring all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the decision and development lifecycle
  • Manage cross-impacted initiatives both intra Commercial Bank and across Lines of Business
  • Assess project health and reporting status on a regular basis
  • Identifying and tracking project/program issues and driving their resolution
  • Extensively research new product innovations, competitors, and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with Technology team, to develop, deploy and fully leverage new technologies designed to improve and enhance customer engagement activities
  • Develop and present concise user stories for development while providing a consistent product vision and actionable sprint goals.
  • Be a key thought leader on sales processes and emerging sales technologies. Identify opportunities for experimentation to create value through innovative sales processes and/or technologies.
  • Proactively work with stakeholders to create roll out & enablement plans
  • Provide support around the roll-out and adoption of enhancements
  • Ensure key KPIs are tracked and reported back to stakeholders, pre, during & post-delivery.
Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Experience with Salesforce.com development
  • Highly effective at utilizing current sales enabling technology platforms, and reporting, analyzing deriving insights from sales data
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative problem solving, including ability to turn quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills. Crisp & Clear verbal communication with the ability to be assertive when speaking to a diverse audience.
  • Excellent facilitation skills. Ability to command/lead facilitation meetings with clear & specific agenda. Keep the audience attentive and active in participation of the meetings
  • Analytical mind, service-minded approach and keen to resolve problems
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
  • Excellent business analysis, test planning, activity planning skills. Ability to tailor communication of the plans (i.e., high level vs detailed level) based on the audience
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
  • Pro-active self-starter who thrives on independently seeking out information that may not be readily available
 
Preferred
  • Demonstrated sales success in a sales/credit risk (or related) role
  • Salesforce.com Administrator/Developer certification
  • Experience with Custom code (APEX), and integration with external system
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL, SAS, or other programing language such as C++, Python etc.
  • Demonstrated ability in project management
  • Proven ability to think strategically, synthesize diverse information and identify business opportunities
