About the Role
The CIB CAO Learning and Development Project Manager reports to the Head of Employee Engagement and People Agenda and works with employees, leaders, and subject matter experts at all levels to produce events and build tools that connect people, encourage the exchange of ideas and to impact our local communities. The role is a great opportunity to be a part of something amazing! The project manager is accountable to:
  • Lead and manage the planning, implementation and evaluation of a suite of People Agenda programs and services
  • Manage day-to-day operations of both on-going and discreet programs
  • Establish strong partnerships with CIB CAO volunteers, CIB CAO leaders, location leaders, HR, and People Agenda leaders in other lines of business
  • Research, implement and share best practice and drive for integrated employee development and engagement activities
  • Continual improvement of established process
  • Understanding and documentation of current and future BAU process
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • A passion for employee engagement
  • Innovative, creative and results oriented
  • Strong Project Management and organizational skills
  • Strong judgment, execution and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate employee volunteers, delegate responsibilities, & coach volunteers
  • Ability to interact and build strong relationships with all levels of employees on a global basis
  • Well-developed strategic thinking, attention to detail and tactical execution skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Results oriented and able to take initiative as needed
  • Prior public speaking experience preferred and/or confidence speaking in front of a large audiences
  • Strong team player with the ability to work on a flexible and fluid team

 

The hiring manager for this job opening would be willing to have a conversation about flexibility.  This could range from ad hoc flexibility in a full time position, to a more formal Flexible Work Arrangement.
