We are product managers, data scientists, design strategists and business leaders set on creating and building data products that transform the way we and our clients do business - balancing the art of decision making with data science.

What we build will matter and have huge impact; our products and solutions will reach thousands of our clients around the world, and affect how J.P. Morgan does business, moving trillions of dollars a day. Our group will also work closely with FinTech teams to find emerging
tech companies that can help us accelerate development of new products.

We are seeking a product manager to collaborate across our broader organization and partner with data scientists, design strategists, and business partners in the execution of data driven products and services.

The position requires a deep expertise of building and managing a product roadmap, with an emphasis on execution. Strong product management skills are essential. Being able to stay highly organized across multiple projects, make good risk-based decisions with limited information, function calmly under pressure, and communicate effectively is also required. Moreover, a passion for new product development, emerging technology concepts, and strong grasp of data science will help set you apart.

Most of all, over the next 12-18 months, we expect the ideal candidate will execute our current product roadmap, and rollout Version 2, 3, and 4…

Skills we are seeking:

• A bias towards product execution with a focus on delivering client solutions at all times
• Demonstrated success at executing a product roadmap, with the ability to adeptly pivot opportunities based on new information and market opportunities
• Strong product management skills with a customer first mindset and a focus on product adoption
• Ability to lead product execution across multidisciplinary teams, including technology, data & product teams, and sales representatives
• Ability to provide strong data wrangling skills that surface insights to address client needs
• Intellectually curious with a strong desire to question the status quo and formulate an opinion on the future trajectory of product development
• Strong communication and presentation skills (i.e. creating content) that can be consumed at all seniority levels with both internal and external audiences
• Strategic thinking with the ability to conceptualize the bigger picture and connect the dots across business areas to ensure we develop holistic solutions
• Key influencing skills working across multiple teams to deliver our vision
• A track record of demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and executing challenging goals, and demonstrating an agile mindset
• Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
• Knowledge of emerging technologies as well as exposure to design thinking

Professional experience that will set you apart

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; Master’s degree a plus
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with history of executing customer-centric and complex solutions in a fast paced work environment
  • Prior experience with advanced statistical techniques to create predictive models that drive actionable insights to address client needs
  • Experience managing & executing projects with geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams
  • Programming skills in a high-level language (e.g. Java, Scala, Python, C/C++, Matlab, R)
  • Project based experience with: statistical data analysis and experimental design (Python, R, Matlab), applied machine learning, and databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership & interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams to a solution and adjust leadership style for the situation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced self-starter that can take ownership of programs and projects, set timelines, work with sponsors, understand and drive forward strategies for completing efforts
  • Knowledge of Treasury Services products (Payments, Receivables, Liquidity, FX, Channels, Analytics), helpful but not required
