The Global Fund Services ("GFS") group serves the worldwide securities needs of asset managers, pension funds and central banks. GFS is made up of six product companies; Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Trust & Fiduciary, Investment Operations, Investment Analytics and Global Derivatives Services. Our businesses operate throughout the world, but with primary locations in the UK, United States, Luxembourg, Ireland, South Africa and Australia.
The primary team objective is to deliver strategic change to the operation teams enabling process efficiencies, risk reductions and facilitating a greater scalable business model within the business. There are numerous projects being managed by the team at any one time, and it is expected that all team members are flexible enough to interchange between multiple project streams where required.
The Product Development team is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to work on a global, cross-functional program. The Business Analyst will primarily work primarily with Client Service & Operations to clearly define, document and ensure collective understanding of all requirements related to the client facing program. It is also expected, as required, to be involved in all aspects of the project e.g. Testing, implementation planning etc. The role will also involve planning and tracking deliverables, managing actions/ issues and ensuring a successful delivery to production.
Provide consistent updates on the status of progress/issues, risks and concerns to the project lead.
Work with Operations areas and technology partners to build the business case in support of each proposed strategic enhancement.
