The Sr. Specialist I helps customers find and apply for the best type of auto loan product. Specialists handle inbound inquiries and make outbound calls related to auto loan applications. Candidates will be responsible for capturing accurate information on auto loan applications and conveying terms and conditions of approvals to consumers. 
 
Additional responsibilities will include:
  • Working in an environment that requires 100% phone-based customer interaction.
  • Helping customers/bankers/underwriters mitigate verifications necessary to complete loan decisions
  • Following required disclosure statement / scripting. 
  • Escalating issues to supervisor/manager.
  • Rerouting misdirected calls to appropriate departments. 
 
 
 
Shift / Schedule:  Candidates must be available to work a schedule in support of the department's operational hours based on business needs.  Operational Hours are: 6:00 AM to 7:15PM, Monday - Friday,  and 6:00AM to 6:00 PM Saturday.  (Shift will be a set schedule once assigned.)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service or sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient data entry skills (mouse and keyboard usage) to launch applications, conduct searches, and maneuver in a Windows-based environment is strongly preferred.
  • Detail oriented and exercises good judgment to determine if applicable standards are met.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual (Spanish Preferred)
  • College degree in business/communications or related field
  • Experience in auto finance industry.
  • Knowledge of loan processing a plus
  • Preference given to individuals with knowledge of auto finance products, policies and procedures and fair lending regulations.
