The Consumer & Chase Wealth Management Data Analytics team is focused on building analytics from vast amounts of banking and investment data that will inform and influence leadership through actionable information. As an analytics consultant to the business, this role will partner with multiple peers and senior leaders to deliver strategic and accurate analytics, data and reporting to drive the business forward. This individual will be interacting with partners in New York and Columbus often.

This individual will own project deliverables, use their curiosity and relationships in the business to develop a technical solution and communicate the technical methods and data insights to senior business leaders.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of proven analytical experience, strong in both technical and business skills, with demonstrated examples of delivering solutions and effectively mentoring other analysts to help them develop their analytical skills and knowledge. New team member will be challenged to quickly learn Chase database structures, apply their knowledge of analytics via SAS and SQL, and deliver strategic and accurate analytics, data and reporting to support and inform the business.
Partner and consult with clients to define problems and information needs and translate them into specific data requirements to support business initiatives
Complete analytical projects from start to finish (requirement gathering, querying data and manipulation, overall analytical assessment, project documentation, communication packaging, and presentation of results)
Presenting findings, recommendations and presentations to Senior Management.
Maintaining necessary processes, controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Developing, generating, maintaining, and distributing periodic and ad hoc reports
Interpret data and analyze results using advanced / complex exploratory and statistical techniques. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Locate, acquire and leverage data and technology resources from across corporate data warehouse and other secondary data sources
Work closely with clients and management to prioritize business and information needs
Ability to be a team player, thrive in a changing environment, and stay focused on meeting business objectives in a fast paced environment with aggressive deadlines
Work closely with upstream and downstream partners to communicate outcomes and analysis
Develop enhanced reporting through use of automation, if required, such as excel macros or SAS programming as needed
Expected to work on multiple projects with limited guidance.
Pro-actively identify analytical opportunities and drive them to come up with concrete actionable for improving models, processes and policies
Guide and influence team members in every aspect of their work (data, platforms / tools, business knowledge, analytical techniques etc.)
Build and maintain strong engagement with all stakeholders (both India and US)
The work schedule is Monday - Friday 2 PM - 11 PM IST and flexibility to support 04:30 PM – 1:30 AM IST not more than 50% of time.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline; Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics or equivalent work/training is required;
Knowledge of key drivers in Retail Banking and Investments (Volumes, Rates, Products, Customer Segments, Profitability) preferred
8+ years of related analytical experience
5 years of strong SQL skills utilizing complex queries in a large data warehouse environment such as MS SQL, Teradata, Hadoop
3 years of SAS Programming including SAS macros preferred or other transferable programming skill.
Strong analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Able to manipulate and condense large volumes of data into concise and meaningful visualizations
Advance knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PPT)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently & manage projects and deadlines
Proven track record where applicant had ownership of a deliverable, communicated methods and measured outcomes with senior leadership engagement
Demonstrated ability to understand, design, document and implement reporting solutions in a high record-volume environment
