Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing and supporting applications within an existing technology environment. Utilize a combination of mature and cutting edge programming methodologies and languages. Adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation. Participate in planning sessions with team members to analyze business requirements and contribute to the proposed IT solution. Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations. Document the detailed application specifications and develop high quality code that adheres to architectural approaches and coding policies/standards. Design, build and testing complex DataStage ETL jobs, Oracle Stored procedures/Functions, and UNIX scripts. Utilize Autosys for scheduling the jobs and to automate the ETL process. Work closely with business partners throughout the requirements gathering, technical design and development lifecycle phases. Document functional and technical specifications. Guide junior developers distributed across different geographic locations and manage the technical delivery. Review the Code developed by other team members within the project. Review all coding and naming standards. Participate in design, implementation, and peer reviews. Work and manage multiple team members across onshore, offshore and mentor junior developers. Interact with cross-functional teams and product users to understand business needs and data requirements. Proactively address issues and investigate problems arising from the production environment. Research, evaluate, and apply new technologies, and re-evaluate existing processes and methods.
Qualifications - Internal
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering,
Computer Science, or related field of study and five (10+) years of experience in the job offered or as a Programmer Analyst,
IT Consultant, System Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required:
This position requires 8-10+ years of experience with the following skills:
IBM InfoSphere DataStage or other ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Pentaho and etc
Oracle PL/SQL
Query tuning and rational Database
UNIX Commands
Shell Scripting;
Scheduling the jobs and automating the ETL process
Agile methodology
Requires 4-5 years of experience with the following skills:
WebSphere MQ
DataBase Dimensional Modeling
Very good communication & leadership skills required
Knowledge of financial systems/market a strong plus
