The Investor Services technology organization partners with both business and technology colleagues across the firm enabling the organization to deliver world-class technology in a predictable, cost effective and high quality manner.
The Asia Pacific technology team provides external clients and internal client service staff with industry leading technology to support the Custody & Fund Services and Collateral businesses.

Working in the Investor Services division of JPMorgan in Hong Kong, this is a key role within the technology team, working with a team of Production Management specialists supporting multiple user sites across Asia Pacific.
The Production Management team is responsible for the support and maintenance of both vendor and in-house built applications for the APAC lines of business and works closely with both technology and business support units in planning change and ensuring the timely resolution of Production issues. This role will provide a direct technology face-off to senior business leads in Hong Kong. For the right candidate there is an opportunity for real career progression in a business that is going through a period of growth. Key Accountabilities/Major Responsibilities:
  • Manage production technology incidents to resolution, ensuring timely engagement, escalation and effective communication to business, technology and vendor partners
  • Perform post incident analysis, identifying and implement preventative measures and lessons learned across the business
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation of production monitoring
  • Proactively identify common root causes of issues and address to improve overall production stability
  • Work with application vendors to schedule upgrades and enhancements
  • Work with business and technology partners to plan and test the disaster recovery plan
  • Act as Production Owner for key applications, responsible for maintaining global best practice and hygiene standard

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Proven record in implementation of automation and ongoing process improvement
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning and test execution
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills
  • Experience in maintaining a controlled technology environment, validated by auditors and regulators
  • Understanding of key Investor Services concepts and deliverables
  • Excellent technical knowledge including
    • SQL
    • SWIFT messaging
    • Server - Wintel and UNIX
    • ITRS Geneos
    • Automation technologies
