The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (CCBSI) group at J.P. Morgan focuses on U.S. companies with revenues in excess of $500 million which require both traditional commercial banking services in addition to investment banking products. The Financial Institutions Group is part of Corporate Client Banking within the Commercial Bank and is responsible for managing relationships with Banks, Thrifts and Credit Unions with assets up to $25 Billion. We provide solutions to clients and prospects including: 1) Corporate Finance (Capital Raising, Securitization and M&A); 2) Interest Rate Risk Management; 3) Holding Company credit needs; 4) Bank Level credit (letters of credit, Overnight Liquidity lines); and 5) Treasury Services (deposit management, image cash letter, vault services, funds transfer and balance reporting).
The position is primarily geared to providing leadership to deal teams and accountability for pitch book preparation and transaction execution, while ensuring coordination among analysts, senior deal team members, and credit underwriting. The Associate would also support the Debt Capital Markets team from initial pitch phase to execution. As a member of the team, the position plays an integral part to help gain, manage and maintain client relationships in the Northeast region.
The ideal Candidate will have 3-5 years of Corporate Banking or Investment Banking experience with a strong corporate finance background. The ideal Candidate will also have the ability to identify and assess credit transaction risks, structuring and documentation of credit requests.
The final level of the position will be determined at the time of an offer.
