To do that, you’ll help lead a highly motivated team laser-focused on analyzing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen our operations. You’ll use your leadership skills to give guidance, best practice advice and support across all our business and technology groups. You’ll take the lead on incident response, risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, identifying threats, all of which ladder up to driving and selecting cost-effective solutions. You’ll deploy best practices, new policies, and emerging trends to strengthen our strategic roadmap. You’ll keep management, executive directors, managing directors and stakeholders in the loop, as well as managing people and budgets. Cyber Production Assurance Center (PAC) is responsible for service support and delivery for JPMorgan Chase's Global Cyber Security Incident Support. Through our Production Assurance and Support functions we leverage and execute industry-leading infrastructure management and support processes that are designed to minimize outages and Firmwide impacts. 


The PAC team is a Global team covering 24x7 over 365 days utilizing a Follow-The-Sun model. Its primary purpose is to effectively manage all P1 Major Incidents that have significant impact to JPMC's Cyber Security line of business or other lines of business of the firm as a whole.

As part of the Production Assurance team within Cyber Security, you will follow a flexible working pattern (including weekends) to manage the larger and more critical P1 incidents utilizing industry standard and internal toolsets. The PAC Production manager will work with their counterparts in the PAC team in managing existing technical and cyber attack analysis teams to drive resolution of these highly critical incidents whilst looking to achieve this within the defined SLAs.

This position is anticipated to require the use of one or more High Security Access (HSA) systems.  Users of these systems are subject to enhanced screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks, and/or other enhanced screening at the time of accepting the position and on an annual basis thereafter.  The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.


•5+ years professional experience in incident management, practices and skills or in IT operations in a financial institution.

•Strong working knowledge of a global financial institution in terms of technology/infrastructure and their dependencies and requirements.

•Must be able to work unconventional shifts which will include weekends.

•Strong working knowledge of tools such as HP Service Manager, REACT and collaboration tools such as Sharepoint.

•Broad technology understanding across Mainframe, Midrange, Distributed Systems, Storage and Networks.

•Strong knowledge of information security domains, concepts and principals

•Practical experience with frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST, ITIL and COBIT

•Committed to results in a highly stressful environment.

•Must possess decisive leadership, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making skills in the heat of the moment.

•Strong oral and written communication skills

•Strong analytical and problem solving skills

•Build relationships both from a customer and technical point of view including with the problem and change management teams.

•Foundation Certification or strong knowledge of ITIL concepts is advantageous.

•Strong typing and multitasking skills are highly desired.
