Global Service Operations (GSO) is responsible for service support and delivery for JPMorgan Chase's (JPMC) Global Technology Infrastructure. Through its Global Service Desk and Infrastructure Operations Centers, GSO provides global, coordinated diagnostic and support services, while its Production Assurance and Support functions leverage and execute industry-leading infrastructure management and support processes that are designed to minimize customer outages and impacts. 

 

The Electronic Trading Infrastructure (ETI) team is a full service delivery team - supporting technology infrastructure design, implementation & operations - within Global Services Operations (GSO) organization, the team responsible for service support and delivery for JPMorgan Chase's Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between the lines of business and the ETI team
  • Provide a ‘storefront’ interface/liaison for each CIB major business unit for the purpose of both technical & business oversight of ETI work requests and proposals.
  • Provide a single lead contact for each CIB major business unit to ensure front-office business strategy and application roadmaps are understood & translated into ETI service delivery.
  • Perform technical project management duties for transactional (ie short duration, low complexity) & non-transactional (ie longer duration, higher cost/complexity) efforts.
  • Liaise with Cyber, TCO, and Governance silos to ensure work requests adhere to both regulatory and compliance constraints.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure GTI and third party expenses are in line with expectations.
  • Liaise with third party vendors, ‘subcontracted’ to ETI, for infrastructure deliverables as appropriate.
  • Ensure internal ETI staff are in sync with business strategy and development roadmaps and are interacting & delivering service in an “Agile” manner.
  • Staff to allow multiple concurrent work requests for each LOB in each region, with appropriate backup personnel to ensure gapless coverage 5 days/week
  • Provide weekly JIRA updates & status reports and host weekly interactive reviews with CIB stakeholders & technical partners on a weekly basis, for all requests in the active book of work.
  • Manage and maintain a lightweight service interface that provides a ‘fire & forget’ portal for CIB demand, facilitates prioritization and tracking, and provides a direct link to fulfillment dispatch via ETI delivery silos.
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.
Requirements :
  • Strong technical background - server, OS & Linux a must (with past experience as hands-on contributor), network background a plus
  • Strong business analysis skills, understanding the business needs and processes of the client
  • Ability to provide impact assessments of future business capabilities within a suite of infrastructure solutions with limited information on scope
  • Solid grasp of project management principles, and previous project and/or program management experience
  • Project Task Estimation

  • Ensure risk and control compliance to departmental and companywide standards
  • Ensure adherence to financial controls and budget management
  • Promote client centric environment for work with teams and contributors
