The Associate – Product Manager II is a product owner responsible for shaping the strategic product roadmap, leading cross-functional work to coordinate development of industry-leading commerce product offerings, and managing the associated book of work. Specifically, this role is part of the Migration Team, focused on transitioning clients from legacy to target platforms and devices, and adapting our approach for each segment (e.g. Small Business, Commercial and Corporate Investment Bank clients).
This highly collaborative position requires an individual who has demonstrable communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate understands that product management is cross-functional and involves strategic thinking, market research, client interaction, architecture, technology design, financial analysis, project management, resource planning and general awareness of goals versus constraints.  The ideal candidate will also be able to support multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Lead role in various Migration and Conversion projects requesting data & providing insights for successful completion
  • Collaborate closely with other teams across lines of business as well as Finance and other teams within Merchant Services
  • Ad hoc reporting & analysis
  • Ensure maintenance of an ongoing product controls environment
  • Understand and clearly communicate client impact
  • Client engagement and support as needed
  • Meeting facilitation and representation for team efforts
  • Other responsibilities as designated
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of product and/or project management related experience
  • Must have prior experience working at a payments, or payment technology, company
  • Proven project management experience
  • Ability to use business judgment to guide analysis, draws implications from analysis, and synthesize into clear communications
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills, including the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior business leaders
  • Strong influencing skills in working with internal as well as external individuals and organizations
  • Superior attention to details and process / project management skills
  • Experience with technical concepts and working with technology as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint with strong deck building skillset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Access
