This position is to liaise with the Sanction Screening team and Compliance for all transactions that are stopped for additional screening in OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control).  The position will require the candidate to be flexible and work well under pressure as the items worked need to be handled timely and accurately while working in various systems to obtain information and provide updates. 


Candidate must possess knowledge and previous experience in wire transfer.  Job knowledge as it relates to understanding process/procedure within TSS and experience with PRPC, Customer Assist, and Fircosoft beneficial.  Candidate must understand the risk associated with OFAC inquiry types to be able to identify and appropriately escalate to management when required. 


As a Transaction Processing Specialist you will:

  • Handle complex inquiries and work with the Central Screening Unit and Compliance relating to OFAC inquiries
  • Must have experience in wire transfer investigations
  • Able to think logically and make wise decisions based on facts at hand
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management including external customers
  • Perform complex inquiries and research
  • Analyze information to determine accuracy and completeness of the data

Work schedule:  Monday - Friday / 10am - 7pm - Must be flexible to work different hours as required.
