The Control Readiness Lead position is part of the CCB TCO assessment team and will provide audit support to the IT risk organization. As a Control Readiness Lead, the primary responsibilities will be to lead or assist ongoing risk assessments, control identification, testing, and continuous monitoring activities related to the systems and applications used by CCB.  Additional responsibilities include documenting test results, reporting, and interfacing with all levels of management.
 
Responsibilities include risk identification, control design, and testing procedure creation, quality assurance reviews of testing engagement documentation, acting as a liaison with IT management, TCOs, and audit.  Additional duties include the generation and maintenance of reporting to accurately reflect the current state of the audit and audit oversight program.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Work both independently and in a team setting to assess CCB technology, identify key risk and controls, develop a strategy to test those controls, and perform test execution.
  • Assist with developing the testing steps that will be followed during readiness engagements.
  • Communicate results of testing to management and key stakeholders.
  • Accountable for meeting deliverables and adhering to department standards.
  • Reporting metrics.
  • Ability to lead engagements and supervise staff.
  • Strong analytical mind and approach to problem solving.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in internal/external audit or risk management.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or other related technology discipline. An MBA degree and/or professional certification, such as CISA or CIA a plus.
  • Proficiency in risk analysis, strong analytical skills particularly in regard to assessing the probability and impact of an internal control weakness.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, complete projects on time and on budget, and is able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management in a persuasive manner.
  • Working knowledge of application controls, for example Access Administration, Change Management, Security Configuration, Resiliency, etc.
  • Enthusiastic, self motivated, and effective under pressure.
  • Proven ability and desire to learn quickly, be flexible and thing strategically.
