The Global Security and Investigations Team (GS&I) provides protection, investigation, resiliency and crisis management services in support of JP Morgan Chase, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, due diligence, pre-employment screening, security operations globally, and fraud Investigations.
 
This Project Manager will play an important role within the Technical Security Group of Global Security & Investigations.  The Technical Security Group establishes and manages JPM Chase’s suite of video surveillance, access control, alarm, and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems throughout the enterprise and all lines of business.  The selected candidate will report to a senior Technical Security Project Manager and will assist with the implementation of critical and high-visibility security upgrades and new projects in the Northeast USA, with an initial focus on NJ/NYC.
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the principles of project management, time management, and information management, as well as prior experience implementing surveillance, alarm, and access control systems for a mid-to-large size enterprise.   The position requires adherence to strict project timelines, and very strong organization, communication and collaboration skills.  Under direction from the senior Project Manager, the selectee must be flexible enough to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities and be comfortable dealing with a sometimes stressful and fast-paced, priority-driven environment.  The candidate should be comfortable in a high-technology, highly collaborative environment, and should have prior experience in project management software as well as communications and information management software.  Finally, the successful candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork and an adaptive, energetic, and positive approach their duties.
 
SCOPE:
  • Assist senior Technical Security Project Managers to implement projects enhancing corporate security, with a focus on the Northeast USA region (NJ/NYC)
  • Input and manage data in Project Management databases and SharePoint sites
  • Interface with vendors to ensure best security solutions at best value to the organization
  • Participate in site walkthroughs and technical security assessments in the Northeast USA region
  • Collaborate with other GS&I and affiliated JPM Chase personnel to achieve corporate security objectives

GSIC

  • 2-5 years’ experience as a project manager, managing multiple projects simultaneously.  Experience working on large projects or leading smaller end to end projects preferred
  • Knowledge of security products for corporate facilities (i.e. alarm, video and access control)
  • Strong analytical, data management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
  • Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to changes in plan
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with project management software
  • Project Management certification preferred (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
