JPMorgan Chase Corporate Real Estate is responsible for a worldwide occupancy portfolio of 75 million square feet across 61 countries in over 6,500 properties. Specifically, the position provides support to the GRE Global Head of Sustainability as well as other senior leaders within Property Management on matters related to sustainability, construction and project management.
 
This position requires support across Global Real Estate in all areas of the sustainability, corporate finance, and facility management of commercial, retail and data center properties to include; but not limited to contributing to projects reporting, preparation of communications, interactions with GRE and JPMC departments, GRE Suppliers and JPMC internal clients, monthly reporting including measurement and verification.  Provide administrative tasks including reports preparation, cost tracking and segregation exercises, and supervision of all energy procurement contractor activities.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Take leadership role in oversight of all sustainability projects including establishing PMO for onsite renewable energy technologies including solar, fuel cell, and storage
  • Oversee project management and financial systems in order to ensure cash flow needs and contractual obligations are met
  • Oversee facility management partners responsible for daily construction activities related to all projects
  • Oversee solar ‘Program Managers’ for both retail and commercial sites to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and all JPMC corporate requirements are met
  • Manage Contingent Worker program and protocols for all sustainability projects and onsite sustainability related programs
  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts and tasks, including liaison with various management teams
  • Develop and prepare operational and financial reporting tools for various leadership groups throughout the Firm
  • Laisse with JPMC GSS team in preparing RFP materials and coordination/aggregation of project level data
  • Participate in JPMC public commitment of achieving operational sustainability goals
  • Provide reporting on key activities to include the solicitation of information from GRE staff and suppliers
  • Assist the GRE Property Management Team with tactical planning to accomplish the team’s goals and objectives
  • Manage & maintain new and existing GRE Sustainability information management tools  
  • Provide support for meetings and conference rooms, as needed and directed
  • Ensure appropriate follow up with customers and suppliers
  • Seek to continuously improve processes, systems and overall client satisfaction
  • Work with management and staff with operational reporting, budgeting, financial systems, purchasing as necessary 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years’ industry experience required in a corporate environment, real estate holding company or major consulting company.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, including past publishing and speaking experience
  • Demonstrated experience in project management for energy related projects or corporate real estate development
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Ability to manage and track large amounts of data, and to articulate a clear and meaningful message supported by this data
  • Passion for addressing sustainability, energy and renewables areas
  • Self-starter with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines, prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environment
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and  Visio
