Business Description:

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (WM), with client assets of $1.3 trillion and more than 160 years of experience, provides integrated services for ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth families and individuals worldwide. WM products offered to clients include investments, credit, deposits, and fiduciary products across the Private Bank (PB), JPM Securities (JPMS) and Chase Wealth Management (CWM). The WM Investments Finance Team is responsible for analytics, forecasting, and reporting of WM revenue and expenses related to investment products including mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, separately managed accounts, IPOs, trading, foreign exchange, and derivatives. This role will primarily cover the Investment Solutions organization and partner with Portfolio Managers, Trading Product Desk Heads, Investor Team Leads (ITLs), Business Management, Regional CFO’s, Product Controllers, and finance contacts across Asset & Wealth Management to ensure the ongoing financial health of the Investments practice.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic projects in support of the investments business (e.g., pricing and yield analyses, brokerage and flows seasonality / trend assessments)
  • Execute analytical ad-hoc requests from practice and product leaders, our CEO, CFO, and other senior managers
  • Manage the performance management process for portfolio managers & due diligence teams, with responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of metrics and scorecards
  • Navigate, interpret and analyze large data sets and prepare insightful presentations for business reviews and senior management meetings
  • Review weekly and monthly revenue / flows reports by developing expertise in MIS systems and data retrieval and analysis
  • Deliver clear and concise communication and work products to business partners across WM
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with finance team members as well as Investment Solutions and Investor teams

Role Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in business or financial analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required; MBA a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with confidence to work directly with senior management
  • Ability to hit the ground running and deliver results in a fast moving environment
  • Self - motivated and independent worker; ability to think analytically and creatively
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong familiarity and skill with Microsoft programs, including, but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Desire and ability to understand and effectively utilize MIS reporting systems
