The PreTrade team within Securities Lending Technology is looking to hire a highly motivated, hands-on UI Developer to join the London team to build out the Securities Lending platform globally. The successful candidate will be responsible across the technology lifecycle from user/technical requirements, design, development, implementation and support of the Global Equity Finance and Securities Lending systems. The key focus will for the candidate will be to manage the build of the Pretrade Application within Securities Lending.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Advanced WPF skills – Experience with MVVM, Prism Framework etc.
  • Experience with Web technologies such as React JS, Angular etc.
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET, multi-threading, caching
  • Experience working on Java Technologies a plus
  • Good knowledge of Tibco EMS
  • Experience with Financial Industry a must
  • Object oriented design and programming as well being at least familiar with design patterns with a pre-requisite
  • Good understanding of full software life cycle development processes including Agile processes
  • Enforces discipline across the software development lifecycle including test driven development
  • Help support our environment and effective utilization of the platform. Ensure that systems run well in production, are highly available at disaster recovery and have sufficient capacity
