The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
 
CT teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda.
 
Data management and analytics QA team is seeking for Quality Assurance Analysts to build and execute test plans to ensure high quality releases.
 
Responsibilities Include: 
  • Analyze project requirements to create test plans and execute test scenarios
  • Manual and automated test execution to assure consistency and accuracy with project requirements to ensure a high level of quality across releases
  • Document project related and test-related deliverables for every release
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings, planning meetings and review sessions (using Scrum / Agile methodology)
  • Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure complete delivery of releases

 Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on testing experience with relational Database systems
  • 3+ years of developing SQL Queries to derive expected results, set up desired data loads for execution of functional scenarios
  • 3+ years working with Oracle and/or Teradata databases 
  • 3+ years of experience with Quality assurance processes and tools including HP ALM, JIRA
  • Strong experience with manual backend testing, testing tools, and reviewing test cases
  • Should have strong data analysis skills
  • Automation test suite development and testing experience using Excel macros/Abinitio/Informatica
  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in a related field such as Information Technology / Computer Science, Analytics, or Communications a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to forge lasting relationships with the team(s) you are part of.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are critical.
  • Must be a highly motivated team player who is a quick learner and someone who can work independently or on a team with minimal supervision
  • Experience with full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies including Agile
  • SAS experience is a plus
