Job Description
 
This is a Dev-Test Automation Engineer role and will be a key member of the Margin and Collateral Services application development team responsible for the development and delivery of a fully STP, event driven trade assignment for the Markets business. Knowledge in the Securities Industry and market data are a strong plus, especially an exposure to cleared and non-cleared OTC business. A Highly technical hands-on QA resource reports into AD organization for Margin and Collateral Business. This position is located in Bangalore.
 
Required Skills:
 
  • 8+ years experience in programming with Java, Python, JavaScript, Groovy, VbScript etc.
  • Automation Development Experience with tools like Selenium, JUnit ,Mockhito, Concordion,                 Cucumber, Test Complete, UFT etc.
  • Exposure to Basic Java development environment.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills as well as written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of different software development life cycles (Agile, waterfall, iterative) and software quality assurance processes.
  • Strong experience in automation framework development using Java, Python, JavaScript, Groovy with exposure to Continuous Integration (CI).
  • Awareness of basic Object Oriented programming (Classes/Methods, Etc.) and version control
  • with SVN, GitHub etc.
  • Knowledge business domains and key business drivers like Margin and Collateral is a big Plus. influencing quality of software applications.
  • Proven ability using Linux/Unix.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Center, Jira, Database/SQL.
  • Work closely with developers, business and project managers in a highly collaborative environment
Educational Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a mathematics or science-based subject from a top school, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced degrees are preferred, but not required.
