JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Corporate Sector Finance & Business Management (CS F&BM) group provides financial management and reporting support for all Corporate Sector groups, including Global Real Estate, Enterprise Technology, Compliance, Legal, Corporate Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, Audit, Executive and other staff areas.

The Global Real Estate (GRE) Finance team is comprised of finance professionals across the globe who are accountable for managing both the expense and capital components of the GRE function, ensuring a sound control environment, measuring performance, providing value-adding analyses, and presenting information and ideas to senior management within Global Real Estate, to the major lines of business, and to the various firm-wide finance teams who roll up the results of the entire corporation. The team covers all aspects of the Firm’s real estate portfolio including, but not limited to, space management, property management, lease administration, design & construction, and sustainability projects. The firm has offices in more than 60 countries across over 5,500 properties, covering approximately 75mm square feet.

The role will report to the CFO of Global Real Estate with the following key responsibilities:

  • CFO for the re-development of a new, state-of-the-art headquarters at 270 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan
  • Integrate with development / project team and work closely with control and project accounting partners to drive comprehensive project monitoring
  • Use change management techniques to build / lead financial management platform and execute on real estate and financial strategy
  • Oversee and ongoing financial planning and forecasting, including evergreen diligence of operational and construction capital investments and expenses
  • Deliver strong analytics, insights, and full transparency to GRE and JPMC executive leadership regarding the financial performance of the project
  • Partner with GRE to manage budget tracking, scope changes, contract review, approvals etc.
  • Prepare Operating Committee presentations
  • Deliver robust reporting and value-add metrics to best inform strategic decisions
  • Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
  • Establish strong, proactive relationships with GRE Project Manager and senior members of Design and Construction, Portfolio Management, Property Management, and the Global Incentive Group.
  • Ensure a strong control environment and act as key contact for Corporate Controllership, Internal Audit Department, and Project Accounting

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/CPA preferred
  • 12+ years of finance and overall business management experience in a complex financial organization
  • Experience in the real estate industry or JPMC financial management and change management experience preferred
  • Outstanding analytical and superior verbal and written communication especially with senior level management
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker with proven ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience with strategic planning, issue resolution and negotiation
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risk based on company and industry guidelines
  • Ability to build and motivate high performance teams with a global focus
