The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for working with the business to gather reporting and data requirements, perform the functional and technical design, and scope level of effort needed to deliver solutions to business users. The ideal candidate will be involved an agile environment and contribute in various aspects of SDLC. Responsible to design and develop complex BI solutions encompassing dimensional modeling, analytics and multi-source data integration. The Business Systems Analyst II will perform in depth data analysis and collaborate closely with reporting team to implement requirements in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. The ideal candidate will also provide enterprise level ETL solutions and will be actively involved with huge volume of data from various technology platform and implement complex business logic into required result. Conduct test plans, test case development, unit testing and user acceptance testing. Participate in code reviews and ensure high quality of product is delivered. Provide scalable solution to complex technical issues. Responsible for performance tune long running and inefficient queries. Responsible for ad hoc reports and dashboard development and responsible for production support and resolve issues. Participate in creating details process documents and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions.

Qualifications:


Skills required:

  •  Experience in all phases of SDLC and have development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Experience applying advanced mathematical concepts and developing simulation models to provide improved analytical insights to service based operations
  • Experience with architecting highly performant databases using the following platforms: ORACLE, SQL SERVER,DB2, MS Access, TERADATA, My SQL, Sybase, and Informix
  • Database experience with advanced SAS/SQL/PLSQL
  • Experience researching and manipulating large data sets and performance analysis
  • Experience with data analysis and synthesizing information across multiple platforms, systems, and organizations
  • Experience scaling and performance tuning of high volume OLTP and OLAP and data warehousing environments
  • Must have experience in data warehousing
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of release management process, process automation BMC, Windows scheduler
  • Experience in testing and defect tracking
  • Experience in performance tuning
  • Minimum experience required: 1 year of experience in Data Architecture, Data Analytics, Call Center, Business Intelligence, or related experience
  • Minimum education required: Master's degree or bachelors plus 5 years IT experience
