The Loan Quality Validator (LQV) team supports various operational business units within the Consumer and Community Bank to deliver automated data quality processes that provide greater efficiency and higher confidence levels in the firm’s data.  The LQV application suite provides the ability to validate  data for accuracy and completeness against operational data quality procedures.
The Operational Data Quality Analyst will work with business stakeholders to define the functional requirements to support LQV projects and will define data sets, perform data mapping definitions, and create and maintain business rules within the LQV Rules Authoring Tool administration module.  The analyst will be responsible for end to end testing including validating data mapping extracts for accuracy and testing the output of the LQV rules engine.  The analyst will work closely with multiple business areas as well as Information Technology, Data Quality, MIS, and Project Management.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand business and technical functions
•Minimum 2 years of Process Analysis / Process Improvement, Technology Development/Support, Risk and/or Project Management experience
•Minimum 2 years experience working operational processes, data and/or technology platforms
•Minimum 2 years experience in supporting, maintaining, administering rules engines - strongly preferred
•Ability to understand data types and create and understand pseudo-technical language - strongly preferred
•Strong MS Office Excel skills utilizing large, dynamic data sets - strongly preferred
•Highly motivated, team player, self-starter and capable of working independently as well as in a team/collaborative environment
•Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
•Experience in data management utilizing Toad, Oracle/PL SQL or similar tools - strongly preferred
•Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
•Fundamental working knowledge of SQL language - strongly preferred
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business Management or Information Technology
