Position Description:

The Transitions Team Specialist will be responsible for the execution of the tasks, processes, and resource utilization within JPMS that will ensure a successful onboarding of new Financial Advisors and the transition of their relationships and accounts to the firm. This position will report directly to the Transitions Team Manager of the JPMS business.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and drive strategic firm and branch initiatives by partnering closely with the Regional Directors, new hires, and the CAO office to execute a core function needed to improve the business efficiency around Account and Advisor Transitions
  • Responsible for the execution of the Financial Advisor onboarding operating model across the JPMS geographic footprint.  This may include significant travel requirements (up to 50%).
  • Partner with business support functions to ensure due diligence and orientation to JPMS platforms, products, and procedures is managed for the transitioning Financial Advisor and their support teams. 
  • Set expectations and manage communications with internal partners and newly on boarded Financial Advisors. This includes ensuring brand and client service standards are met.
  • Partner with Regional Directors, Client Service Group Managers, and Financial Advisors to resolve escalated client needs.
  • Partner with functional groups across the line of business on process improvement and day to day problem solving.
  • Serve as an escalation point for issues pertaining to any of the functions or aspects of an assigned onboarding.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business, Finance or other related business discipline
  • 5-7 years Financial services experience
  • Licenses 7 and 63 preferred. Successful completion will be required shortly after employment begins.
  • Understanding of wealth management business, sales force and investment products.
