Core Product Team - Project Execution
The IT Service Management Program is a cross-LOB initiative to provide a single integrated platform to manage core IT Service Management processes and tasks. The program team will be based predominantly in Bournemouth and New Jersey and will partner with the selected vendor to deliver the program.
The role of Project Execution is within the Core Product Team and will be responsible for supporting the mobilization and implementation of a single integrated IT Service Management platform across all of Global Technology. Working closely with the Core Product Team Program and Project Managers, the successful candidate will play a key role in: Assisting with day to day management of the Service Now program; Maintaining overall project (release) plans with associated milestones; Ensuring close integration of work streams and partnering with work stream leads on status, risks, issues and dependencies; Assisting with timely and accurate production of quality materials for governance forums. The candidate will have a proven track record of working in cross-LOB and cross-discipline projects, and experience of performing in a global environment will be a distinct advantage.

Role Description:
This role will closely support the activities of the Core Product Team Program and Project Managers. Specifically:
  • Assists with day to day management of the Service Now programme or project
  • Maintains the overall programme or project (release) plans with associated milestones
  • Helps to ensure the close integration of programme and project work streams and activities
  • Partners with team members in both the Core Product Team and Work stream project (release) teams to maintain oversight of all status, risks, issues and dependencies
  • Helps to manage issues and risks and dependencies that could compromise programme / project delivery and benefits realisation
  • Supports broader stakeholder management through provision of reporting required to key stakeholder groups and governance forums
  • Helps to ensure governance forums are well prepared and being appropriately managed – focusing specifically on risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions
  • Tracks project and program financial in order to contribute to business case tracking and benefits realisation
  • Maintains administrative aspects of the project and program such as distribution lists, governance and delivery model decks, regular review of key documentation
Experience / Qualifications:

  • A proven ‘Change Manager’ with experience of planning and supporting complex change initiatives impacting organizational culture and working practices
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Experience of engaging with and managing executive level relationships - strong interpersonal and relationship management skills – able to engage with all levels of the organization and rapidly develop effective working relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Confidence in creating strong partnerships and building influence with key stakeholders within and external to technology
  • Functional expertise in IT Service Management disciplines and/or the Service Now product, experience of ITIL service management disciplines
  • Strong technology background with experience of both development and support organisations, ideally within global financial institutions
  • Strong team player - extensive experience of working in and influencing global teams across multiple regions and countries, enabling a ‘one team’ culture and a positive working environment, respecting the cultures and capabilities across locations
  • Excellent problem solving skills, ability to quickly broker solutions and resolve conflict situations 
  • Experience of enterprise class applications and experience and hands on knowledge of both waterfall and “Agile” ways of working.
