The Technology Resiliency Management team is responsible for ensuring that CIB demonstrates, and improves, the resiliency of its applications. Our team interacts with our partners in Application Development, Corporate and Global Infrastructure teams. The CIB business relies heavily on having stable and resilient applications to be able to provide clients and governments with a first class service, all the time.
Our team understands regulatory requirements, drives company policy and engages with support teams to ensure that the 1000+ applications design, build, test and, in an incident, execute recovery plans efficiently and effectively.

  • Reviewing and advising CIB Production Owner (PO) and Application Owner (AO) community on their cyber malware plans
  • Working with Global Technology Resiliency Management (GTRM) and other LoB’s (Retail, Asset & Wealth management etc.) to ensure a consistency in approach and quality
  • Communicating and training CIB PO and AO community on cyber malware plans
  • Working with Global Incident Management (GIM)and GTRM to ensure processes and procedures are in place to handle cyber malware events
  • Working with Global Technology Infrastructure, Chief Development Office, Corporate and AO/PO community to ensure critical data is reliable and accessible (audit tool roll out)

  • We are looking for an ambitious and experienced technologist to help drive the resiliency controls agenda, policy and work streams. Ideally within financial services or a large-scale technology firm you will have:
    • Knowledge of how large scale enterprise servers are built and operate
    • Knowledge of multi-tier application architecture
    • Knowledge of support services used by applications (MQ, NDM, Scheduling, etc.)
    • Experience executing projects using various methodologies
    • Experience of technology resiliency and the associated risks and issues
    • Experience of working closely with other technologists across the globe
    • Ability to engage production and application development teams to understand challenges and blockers to the creation of plans
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Proactive approach, engaging expertise to structure conversations, positions and recommendations

      

    Qualifications
     
    • 15+ years of IT experience - Finance its a plus
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Minimum of 5 years in applications or infrastructure development
    • Minimum of 5 years in project management role
    • Minimum of 2 years in a Systems Admin role (Unix/Windows)
