The Cross Asset Latam Structuring team partners with the Latam salesforce to structure and execute tailor made solutions to clients in the region in both derivatives and financing spaces. Our team also has frequent interaction with local clients and other internal partners from Trading, Credit, Legal, Tax, Finance, and Operations.

 

Role and responsibilities

 

  • Structuring of derivatives, notes and secured financing solutions for Brazilian corporate and institutional clients, through:
  • Idea generation
  • Analysis of credit, regulatory, tax, accounting, pricing and risk management aspects of products and transactions, liasing with a variety of internal partners (in front office and support areas), external partners (such as external counsel and local clearing) and clients
  • Pricing
  • Production of marketing material
  • Transaction approval
  • Documentation review and negotiation
  • Execution
  • Help Sales and Banking identify opportunities in the region
  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Office package, with an advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Very strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Clear communication of concepts and ideas, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interact comfortably with clients and internal partners
  • Detail oriented, with ability to perform in depth review of documents
  • Creativity in solving problems
  • Self-directed and highly motivated
  • Strong knowledge of pricing, market, regulatory, tax and accounting aspects of derivatives, financing and investments products
  • Prior experience in structuring transactions
