As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
 
 
Skill Requirements:
The skill requirements for infrastructure design and configuration management resource:
Infrastructure and Configuration management, responsibilities include:
  1. Building application Infrastructure
  2. managing configuration and access model for different environments
  3. Resolving application issues
  4. Capacity planning
  5. Performance monitoring and metrics collection
  6. Technology administration
  7. Product engineering and tuning
Experience Requirement:
1- Strong knowledge and working experience with UNIX environment (6-7 yrs.)
2- Experience in design, developing, and deploying JEE applications (4-5 yrs.)
3- Experience with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, etc (1-2 yrs.)
4- Experience with packaging and deploying JEE/Spring web applications using CI, Jenkins, Nexus, GIT/SVN, maven (4-5 yrs.)
5- Experience with WebSphere and Tomcat administration (4-5 yrs.)
6- Knowledge of Configuration management processes and tools
7- Assist with documentation of environment diagram and configuration, knowledge of Visio is a big plus. (3-4 yrs.)
8- Have coordination skills to work with other environment and infrastructure teams (4-5 yrs.)
9- Experience with system level metrics and performance collection (4-5 yrs.)
10- Experience with automating manual processes (4-5 yrs.)
11- Experience with implementing resiliency and high availability
A big Plus:
Experience in managing large Cognos environments
