The successful applicant will have an understanding of liquidity client solutions, including how various structures impact our client’s operating cash and excess balances and the economic impact to the firm, the market environment, regulatory considerations and the overall client relationship to help determine the best and most appropriate liquidity solutions for CB clients.  Products supported will primarily be complex, global cash concentration solutions including physical cash concentration, multibank sweeps and notional pooling products.


This individual will also have responsibility for partnering with TS Liquidity Product on new product initiatives and commercialization of those new products across the Commercial Bank as well as partnering with CB Deposit and Analytics to ensure the liquidity products support our underlying CB deposit rate strategy. 


The individual selected will require the ability to develop strong working relationships across multiple regions, functional areas and across lines of business.


Key responsibilities will focus on strategy definition, product delivery and commercialization, engaging with and influencing our TS product partners in planning, controlling and developing liquidity products, ensuring a CB-client focused delivery of market viable, profitable and operationally supported solutions. This demanding role requires a talented individual who is able to work independently and partner with others to drive meaningful change in a collaborative way.


This role will help formulate the vision for a market-exceeding client experience, ensuring that we deliver products that will match our client's current and future needs.  This role will report to the CB Liquidity and TSFX Product Executive.

  • Develop and communicate segment differentiated product positioning and client/market strategies to pursue profitable revenue growth opportunities across the cash concentration product suite
  • Work with clients and sales to understand their current issues related to managing operating cash and excess balances globally
  • Understand and analyze industry trends, risk and regulatory developments and competitive landscape
  • Develop key relationships across the Commercial Bank, regionally and globally, to allow for coordinated execution across multiple geographies
  • Work across the global TS liquidity product organization as well as the CB Deposit and Analytics team to ensure a consistent and client focused approach
  • Ensure new products/product enhancements or entry to new markets are approved by the CB approval governance committee (e.g. NBIA, RA) in partnership with CIB approval processes
  • Understand the Treasury Services business and how clients use and benefit from our products
  • Represent CB in the product rollout process, ensuring products developed by CIB are ready to launch within the CB including collateral materials, pricing, target client identification and communications to sales.
  • Identify how cash concentration products fit into the Commercial Bank’s overall global product offering and opportunities to drive revenue growth and deepen client relationships through comprehensive client solutions
  • Support a global and regional-specific CB client pipeline process, partnering with CB sales, Liquidity product support specialist, bankers, and international product specialists and in regional international coverage executives
  • Manage interfaces across CB and TS product for enhancements to product risk and control processes
  • Understand the end to end product process flows and handoffs between businesses from on boarding to problem resolution and root cause identification and drive improvements across LOBs to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Provide assistance in analyzing client flows and treasury management structure to recommend client solutions that align with our CB liquidity product strategy.
  • Assist in ensuring client deals follow appropriate pricing guidelines, principles and approval processes and key stakeholders across all impacted business are engaged 
  • Work with Change Management teams globally to ensure communications about product changes are timely and accurate

  • 5+ years’ experience in investments and/or transactional banking, preferably product management, advisory, sales, product/solution delivery, or consulting
  • 2+ years international banking experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury Services solutions, including technical, market, processing and regional market experience
  • Understands the risk/cost/revenue dynamics of the treasury services business and can articulate the implications of changes within the variables (volume, rate, price, etc.) on the profitability of the offering
  • Understanding of relevant risk, compliance and regulatory issues and exposure
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills including business case creation
  • Established leadership experience across multiple functional areas
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive strategic and tactical execution
  • Synthesize large amounts of information into crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences
  • Understanding of the Commercial Bank client base and infrastructure, and interdependencies across other LOBs
  • Methodical, with exemplary attention to detail
  • Understanding of product and project management principles, tools and practices
  • Demonstrated client facing experience with internal and external clients
  • The ability to interact with Sales and clients to extract product needs and opportunities for enhancement coupled with the innovative insight to translate those needs into scalable innovative product solutions and opportunities
  • Experience with the commercialization of new products; support readiness, marketing collateral, successful pilot and launch to BAU
