The Wholesale Credit Risk Reporting & Middle Office (WCRRMO) supports the CIB Risk organization in key control activities such as Reporting, Rapid Exposure Drill (RED) process, violations reporting, risk data control and the credit approval and decision making processes.  WCRRRMO is actively involved in the analysis of credit data and risk metrics, identifying trends and issues which may impact the bank’s ability to manage credit risk. 

  

The group is looking to hire a Senior Associate, reporting to the Global Lead, RED and Data Management assist in driving the RED programme for both the BAU process and RED strategic programme and the Data Management process.

 

The role involves working closely with Credit Officers, Operational Assurance & Advisory (OAA), WCRRMO, Technology & Line of Business Operations/Settlement teams. The role will support all RED recertification to ensure that the correct access is provided to the relevant colleagues as well as supporting the CRMO is the remediation of Data Management issues.

The candidate should have operations product and change management experience and be interested in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, becoming involved in a diverse set of issues and have a direct impact on the future definition and success of the group. 

 

The RED / Data Management Senior Associate will sit by the RED NA Lead for CRMO in Delaware, reporting to the Global RED and WRCMMO Lead based in London. The position is based in Delaware to assist in global coverage for CRMO data management and will liaise closely with CRMO based in North America as well as working closely with the RED NA Lead.

Responsibilities :
  • Assist in managing CRMO’s data agenda, including the identification and implementation of data controls, investigation and documentation of data quality issues as well as assisting in creation of presentations for CRMO in various data forums and covering for the WCRMMO lead during absences.
  • Prepare monthly CRMO data quality statistics including investigating route courses of the statistics, their movements and common themes for escalation.
  • Review new requests for access to the RED Tool and maintain the Red Responder Groups to ensure that only the relevant colleagues have access.
  • Maintain the CRMO DQM list and the CRMO data issue log.
  • Own the recertification of all access to the RED tool and the GENT tool.
  • Work with the RED Tech Team, CRMO, OAA and the business to understand where there are data issues and ensure that the RED issue log remains up to date.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelors degree in economics, mathematics or a business subject
  • Strong understanding and experience of trade lifecycle from risk management platforms through to settlement and confirmation functions preferred
  • Prior experience working in a middle office or back-office teams
  • Knowledge of multiple product sets (e.g., derivatives, securities and loans)
  • Strong project management skills; excellent organization & planning skills with experience initiating and running projects and proven track record  of execution & delivery in a complex and changing environment
