Credit Middle Office (CMO) function of Wealth Management (WM) works closely with the Credit Executives, Lending Advisors, Credit Underwriting and related supporting functions to develop and deliver credit solutions for WM EMEA clients and is responsible for preparing client documentation, facility set-up & renewal, collateral and covenant monitoring. The Project Team within CMO is responsible for coordinating and managing the strategic initiatives that impact the Credit function.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive delivery of strategic credit initiatives by working closely with other functions within the Bank
Act as principal liaison for CMO with Strategic Programmes Group and other key stakeholders to define and document business requirements.
Take responsibility for credit workstream deliverables and drive progress against plan. Identify challenges and mitigate potential cost or time delays.
Lead the analysis of project initiatives on client facilities, documentation and BAU processes, identifying re-documentation requirements and any other CMO requirements.
Lead the preparation of client documentation in accordance with the standard templates provided by the legal department, monitor documentation execution status, tracking and reporting the status of documents and resolving exceptions.
Plan and perform user acceptance testing and actual production rollout.
Coach and mentor team members.
Manage and prioritise initiatives that are requested by stakeholders, providing updates on project status to management and stakeholders.
Relevant experience in middle-office operations, front office or other product management role.
Credit or lending experience a distinct advantage.
Risk experience at wealth management institution preferred.
Previous experience in project co-ordination, business analysis, user acceptance testing and documentation within a project role would be advantageous.
A good understanding of the Financial Services industry and regulatory landscape.
Take ownership of deliverables, prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the team.
Effectively communicate key messages and simplify complex business situations.
