Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing the effectiveness and productivity of the corporate travel program in the EMEA region, including executing the global airlines and hotels strategies and managing the strategic relationship with key travel suppliers. The position requires proactive engagement with senior leaders, LOB business managers, and travellers throughout the region. Additionally, close cooperation is required with Regional Travel Managers, travel commodity owners and the corporate travel management company to ensure consistency of approach in leveraging travel contracts globally and meeting client requirements.  The position will report directly to the Global Travel Manager.



  • Maintain and administer Global Travel Policy.
  • Monitor travel policy compliance and provide strategies to increase compliance.
  • Support Global Supplier RFP’s including program management, review, and analysis.
  • Oversight of the travel management company including all operational issues, SLA’s, management reporting systems, and adherence to policy.
  • Develop, implement and manage all travel vendor relationships and programs (agency, air, hotel, car rental, and other travel related services ensuring compliance to service level agreements.
  • Must have strong ability to use various automated travel technology tools including travel management reporting tools and self- booking tools. 
  • Jointly develop and implement the regional business plan with the corporate travel management company in line with the global travel strategy.
  • Improve client satisfaction scores for travel within the EMEA region, working with global and local teams to coordinate client surveys and feedback.
  • Identify savings opportunities and service enhancements, initiate process improvements and deployment of benchmarking-generated best practices.
  • Benchmark, analyze, monitor, and report on travel expenditures and compliance. 
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports for corporate travel.
  • Work with Risk Management on Duty of Care issues, and other incidents relating to business travel.
  • Develop strong internal working relationships with LOB’s / Stakeholders.
  • Design and implement travel training / seminars for travelers and travel arrangers.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the travel/hotel/hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across functions, organizations and suppliers / vendors.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, project planning, scheduling and tracking.
  • Ability to travel.
