*The Business Management ASSOC/Analyst is a member of the Digital Finance & Business Management organization which reports to the Consumer & Community Bank Technology CFO.  The Finance & Business Management organization supports the Digital Business and Technology teams located in New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Columbus, Wilmington, Chicago, Seattle and India.  Digital is responsible for the Online, Mobile, & Emerging Payments channels – driving strategy and delivering great products and customer experiences that are personal, convenient, and the most secure in the banking industry.   Digital is a rapidly expanding and is an important strategic channel for JP Morgan Chase, and this role presents a unique and exciting opportunity.  The Business Management ASSOC/Analyst will be primarily responsible for the analysis and reporting of data to help drive efficiencies and transparency into the business.  This role will support many aspects of the business such as, but not limited to: centralized planning reporting & analysis, location strategy, resource management & vendor management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform financial, location & resource analysis on key business metrics with the ability to summarize findings in clear, concise executive level reporting
  • Support the business management & finance teams with reporting and data in support of BAU processes and cross team efforts
  • Participate and support the implementation and optimization of an agile development model across the Digital organization
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy of Digital BOW forecasting through centralized reporting
  • Analyze and model Digital’s opportunities and challenges within resource management to ensure alignment with employee ratio and contractor tenure goals
  • Drive analysis and optimization of Digital’s location strategy while maintaining an excellent partnership and relationship with Global Real Estate
  • Ability to work closely and effectively with virtual teams to help support Digital’s offshore teams
  • Drive process improvements to enhance reporting capabilities & gain efficiencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related discipline required; with 1 – 2 years of working experience preferred
  • Prior experience in data analysis, data manipulation and detailed metric reporting
  • Advanced MS Office skills specifically with Excel (modeling, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint
  • Positive team attitude with the ability to work collaboratively to deliver effective analysis on high demand/time-sensitive initiatives
  • Ability to juggle multiple activities simultaneously while staying on top of deliverables and ensuring on time delivery and in scope
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, including good judgment and decision making capabilities
  • Strong problem solving skills with a sharp attention to detail
