The Business Management Analyst is a member of the Digital Finance & Business Management organization which reports to the Consumer & Community Bank Technology CFO.  The Finance & Business Management organization supports the Digital Business and Technology teams located in New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Columbus, Wilmington, Seattle and India.  Digital is responsible for the Online, Mobile, & Emerging Payments channels – driving strategy and delivering great products and customer experiences that are personal, convenient, and the most secure in the banking industry.   Digital is a rapidly expanding and important strategic channel for JP Morgan Chase and this role presents a unique and exciting opportunity.  The Business Management Analyst will be highly organized with strong analytical, problem solving capabilities and expert level presentation and communication skills. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and have experience working in both small local teams as well as virtual teams. Experience with business management, data analysis as well as resource management is a must.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Executes resource, project & financial analysis, understands, develops and reports key business metrics, to identify potential opportunities and suggest solutions
  • Communicate actual results, budgets and forecasts to the senior leadership team in a concise and actionable manner.  Provide insights and information critical to delivering business goals and priorities.
  • Proactively analyze trends, research issues, respond to inquiries
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key business partners
  • Drive process improvements to enhance reporting & gain efficiencies
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
  • 3-5 years of related financial analytical experience (forecasting, budgeting, variance & ad-hoc analysis)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Experience in preparing reports detailing monthly performance
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and business partners
  • Strong organizational skills, including good judgment and decision making capabilities
  • Advanced MS Office skills specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
