Description: The Big data end user support engineer will be early members of a growing team with responsibilities for supporting and onboarding end users into 3rd party vendor tool or custom build tool to consume Big data. The Big data consumption is one of the highest priority project in 2018 for CCB. The individual in this role will listen the voice of the customers/client (end users) and get a resolution working with technical teams. The individual will perform the liaison role for end users and software/support engineers. An ideal candidate will have experience to onboard users based on users role & responsibilities, setup users into the system, develop on boarding processes and tool training materials (working with vendor) and continuously communicate with users. The candidate should have superior in communication skills and able to train end users, answer their technical, business and data related questions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience on data solutions – DW/BI, Data Architecture, Database, Data Security
- 8+ years of hands on experience on business user support role in large complex environment
- Familiarity with Big data concept and consumption tools
- 5+ years of experience with new user on boarding to a database system (create and define user class, RSAM & AD roles, host group etc.)
- Superior technical writing and process creation skills
- Knowledge of standard methodologies, concepts, best practices, and procedures within Big Data environment
- Experience working with large group of people and end users
- Superior verbal, writing and listening communication skills
