PPM Tools is part of the GT PMO within Global Technology Administration. The core application the group supports is CA PPM, a Project and Program Management tool utilized across all lines of business. CA PPM currently serves approximately 50,000 users.

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as liaison between IT and business end-users in relation to CA PPM. Work with the business and technology to analyze business requirements and review/produce User Stories for any new/change to technology applications. Work with the development team to ensure that they understand the User Stories. Work with the team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted and helps develop a change management/training plan. Conduct business process modeling and help generate acceptance criteria for the technology functionality testing team.

You will be responsible to identify, assess, and document business requirements, recommending business priorities, and advising business on options, risks, and costs. Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business unit, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible. Analyze impact of proposed solution across the business, develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team, and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews. Assist Quality Management team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test plans, and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed. Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation. Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team. Work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations.


You will additionally be tasked with providing and further building your subject matter expertise in CA PPM as well as Project and Program Management.

College degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience 
3-5 years’ experience using CA PPM is required
Experience in the following:
Project Management
Resource Management
Timesheet Management
Financial Management
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer-focused interpersonal skills
Ability to plan and manage project deliverables
Good personal management skills and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
Experience working in a distributed team environment
Experience working with third-party providers a plus
Experience setting up acceptance criteria  
Awareness of the business and IT strategy 
Line of Business experience a plus
CA PPM Professional Certification is a Plus
