From managing the firm’s capital and reporting quarterly earnings to responding to and complying with regulatory requirements, more than 15,000 colleagues around the world work together every day to manage the firm's Global Finance function. Our job is to ensure the company is capable of navigating all types of market environments while maintaining a fortress balance sheet. The Finance function is a dynamic organization that plays a critical role, particularly as increasing regulatory and capital requirements change the way we do business. Planning & Analysis (P&A), in addition to CFO teams, Controllers, Business Managers and Project management, make up the majority of the Global Finance team.
The Robotics & Dashboards Center of Excellence (CoE) leads initiatives across GF&BM focused on automating manual processes using robotics and creating dynamic and flexible visual dashboards using a wide array of BI tools. The CoE also serve as innovation leaders, continuously exploring opportunities to apply emerging enhanced automation techniques such as optical character recognition (OCR), machine learning (ML), matching algorithms, and natural language processing (NLP).  Sitting in the center, this CoE interfaces with internal clients (LOB P&A, CFO and Controller Groups) to source ideas around robotics, enhanced automation and dashboard opportunities, run functional and technical feasibility analysis, translate the ideas into use cases and partner with Technology to deliver tangible solutions against those use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business, peers on the CoE team and technology to provide planning and implementation support for Robotics process automation throughout RPA lifecycle.
  • Develop business process understanding by conducting process walkthroughs and deep dives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendation.
  • Review standard operating procedures and capture all the granular business requirements & exception scenarios to ensure processes are captured accurately.
  • Maintain all the project related documents and updates on the sharepoint site.
  • Communicate open items, issues and deadlines clearly and effectively to stakeholders and developers.
  • Monitor, control and report key milestones and deliverables of the project and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful completion.
  • Ensure operational risk reviews are done and recommended controls are incorporated in the automated solution.
  • Support various ad hoc activities.
  • Produce executive level reports using JPMC PitchPro standards.
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of new technologies in conjunction with Robotics.
  • Educate and train stakeholders on the robotics SDLC framework.
  • Bachelor’s or Post graduate degree with a focus on Finance/Technology
  • 4-6 years of technology, finance or project management experience preferably in Banking/Finance operations
  • Experience working on Process Improvements areas will be an added advantage
  • Good accounting and finance skills along with the ability to analyze numbers
  • Ability to understand / comprehend data flows and its impacts across the ledger
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite skills ( especially Excel, Power point, MS projects)
  • Proficient in drawing process maps, writing report & creating scorecards
  • Excellent understanding of Finance processes and applications
  • Knowledge of process automation software (e.g, WinAutomation and Automation Anywhere) is preferred
  • General knowledge of programming languages is a plus
