The Wholesale Credit Risk Reporting team (WCRR) is responsible for providing complete, timely, accurate, and useful data on the credit risk generated by the Firm’s wholesale lines of businesses.  WCRR’s key stakeholders include the Firmwide Chief Risk Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Wholesale Chief Credit Risk Officer, senior Credit Risk Management, Investor Relations, SEC Reporting, Finance, and Regulatory Reporting.


WCRR is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual for this analytical role that requires the ability to have a conceptual conversation with our stakeholders and turn that into a high quality end-product.  The right candidate must understand and challenge the numbers, and be able to tell the story behind them.


 Responsibilities:
  • Manage WCRR’s data agenda, including the identification and implementation of data controls, investigation and documentation of data quality issues as well as representing WCRR in various data forums; work with Credit Risk Reporting and Middle Office’s data champion.
  • Own WCRR’s control agenda, including the ownership of the Risk Control Self-Assessment Process (RCSA process)
  • Engage with the Project Services team to help coordinate new requirements and the testing of planned implementations
  • Assist in the production and analytics of monthly credit risk data used for quarterly CFO earnings, Investor presentations, senior management, and SEC 10Q/10K reporting
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of Risk Reporting across LOBs (e.g. Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Banking, and Asset and Wealth Management)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7-12  years of experience in risk and/or financial reporting
  • Understanding of credit risk (i.e. traditional credit products and counterparty risk)
  • Understanding of the Firm’s credit risk systems is a plus (iCRD, CRRT, SELM)
  • Experience with Big Data
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Business Objects is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working within a team environment as well as communicating across departments
  • Experience with senior level presentations and project management
