Our Corporate Technology team relies on smart, driven people like you to develop applications and provide tech support for all our corporate functions across our network. Your efforts will touch lives all over the financial spectrum and across all our divisions: Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and within the Corporate Administrative Office. You’ll be part of a team specifically built to meet and exceed our evolving technology needs, as well as our technology controls agenda.
CT teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda. A top CT priority is building scalable corporate systems.
As a Business Analyst, you will server as a liaison between IT and business end-users. Work with business to analyze business requirements and convert them into User Stories, EPICs. You will be closely working with Product Owners and Technology leads to ensure requirements are captured and understood for the Sprint delivery expectations. You will also work with Dev/QA team to complete their test plans. Participation in defect research and production validations is also necessary.
You are in constant pace to -
- Work with product owner to set priorities
- Gather requirements and build backlog
- Lead/Participate in Backlog grooming sessions
- Lead/Participate in Backlog schooling sessions
- Remove impediment where applicable
- Work with cross impacting teams on dependencies to ensure on time delivery
- Continue refine and improve the scrum team agile practice so that it works the best for the team
- Ability to juggle between high visibility projects and at times research production defects and issues
- Help testing in non-prod environment
- Ability to run production validation as needed
- Always be ready for the next challenging project
Experience with Agile
Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience in software development
5+ years of work experience or major in Information Technology
Experience with developing User Stories, Process Flows, Use Cases and other SDLC deliverables.
Ability to play the role of a SCRUM master as needed
Data flow, Sequence Diagrams, or other diagramming tools and models
Coordinate testing with UAT teams
Familiar with tools like - JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft office.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
