The position is based in Mumbai and will cover the following functions:
  • Strong exposure to business management and financial reporting 
  • Reporting of CIB Infrastructure costs and volumes at a detailed level
  • Working in a controlled and disciplined environment
  • Development of QlikView reporting tool to help automate reporting requirements and provide greater transparency of costs
  • Yearly planning and Mid-Year Forecast process
  • Allocation rules & billing models to recover managed costs from front office businesses
  • Liaise with F&BM and Tech partners to help educate them on how to use the tool and find the detail behind what is driving the variance
  • Maintenance of reference data
  • Play a proactive role in enhancing the current BAU processes
  • Support the monthly reporting process
  • Ad-hoc requests and project work
Qualifications and Skills
  • Qualified accountant with 2-5 years post qualification experience desired
  • Positive, inquisitive, pro-active, can-do attitude with a strong controls mindset
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver quality work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written & personable
  • Advanced MS Office skills in particularly Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Ability to understand the big picture and drill down into the detail
  • Working knowledge of finance tools like Essbase and QlikView would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work with teams in multiple locations across different time zones
  • Strong orientation to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
