In January of 2018, we announced that we plan to expand our branch network into 15-20 new U.S. markets and open up to 400 new branches during the next 5 years.  These new branches will directly employ about 3,000 people in places such as Washington D.C., Boston, Philadelphia and many others.  The Consumer Bank and Wealth Management Sr. Program Manager will support a cross functional team responsible for planning and executing our entry into the new markets.   You will support actions and work with teams to implement initiatives that assure seamless execution.  You will engage an array of stakeholders to support projects and solutions implementation, ensure strong controls & communications, weave multiple team/functions together towards those goals, and keep us focused on the things that matter most.  You will work with colleagues at all levels across Consumer Banking and One Chase to reach our collective market expansion goals and manage and track reporting for senior leadership.  This role requires flexibility, strong communications skills, team building, and an in-depth knowledge of large-scale program management and execution.



  • Reports to the Head of Market Expansion for CB-CWM and functions as a lead contributor with advanced knowledge of retail market expansion in the U.S.
  • Working on large, complex, and highly visible projects that have significant financial and reputational risk to the firm
  • Develop goals and execute strategies around increasing our branch network into new markets
  • With a One Chase mentality, you will build rapport, and maintain relationships, with key stakeholders
  • Identify and implement industry-wide best practices
  • Preparing and delivering executive level presentations and communicating effectively with senior management via multiple channels
  • Independently analyzing information and obstacles, while developing value-added business solutions
  • Simplifying complex issues with minimal assistance and acting with a sense of urgency to meet commitments


  • Bachelor’s Degree required, plus 5+ years proven program/project management capabilities with a strong analytical bias; ability to flex between details and the bigger picture
  • Motivating, and influencing skills- an ability to lead without authority
  • Exceptional presentation skills; significant experience developing and delivering compelling Power Point presentations that “tell a story” and enable decisions to be made
  • Futuristic and innovative thinker able to see what is, and recognize what could be
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other areas of a fast paced, complex environment
  • Strong communication skills, including engaging group facilitation, presentations, and 1:1; always with a high attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Proven ability to drive and support the strategic direction for a department/initiative
  • Occasional travel required
