Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within Commercial Banking and provides loan servicing functions to all four JPMorgan lines of business. 
Position Overview
The Wholesale Lending Services (WLS), Lending Simplification Leader is a senior position within the JPMorgan Chase Wholesale Lending Services leadership team. The individual will have two primary roles. 
First, they will act as the Product Owner for the Loan IQ lending platform. As Product Owner they will be responsible for maximizing customer and market value of all releases while minimizing delivery team efforts. The success of this role depends on high levels of collaboration, negotiations and communications with all stakeholders. The Product Owner will coordinate consistent releases and maintain up-to-date prioritized product and release backlogs. The individual will ensure there is a balance between the inward-facing (development team) and outward-facing (customer) product needs, as well as tactical versus strategic work priorities coming from various key stakeholders. They will lead a team that partners with WLS Technology to deliver new functionality, updated vendor releases, resolve break-fix queues and coordinate UAT for the Loan IQ lending platform.  
Second, the individual, working in collaboration with cross-functional and cross business stakeholders, will drive a strategic multi-year agenda focused on the reduction of lending platforms across the firm. Working directly with the WLS Technology team, the individual will perform GAP analysis between systems to identify functionality requirements to support future portfolio migrations. They will coordinate requirements gathers, UAT testing, training and the creation of new SOP’s.   
The position requires a results-focused, visionary, influential and process-disciplined leader to deliver against an extensive future-state roadmap.  This person will ensure a healthy balance between the strategic long term and tactical quarterly objectives.
Core Responsibilities
  • As Product Owner for Loan IQ:
    • Coordinate Prioritized Release Backlogs definition, prioritization and maintenance
    • Ensure clear definition, communications and adherence to release acceptance criteria
    • Drive and maintain uncompromised product quality standards
  • Directly shape and manage the end-to-end WLS Lending simplification vision and roadmap, ensuring timely, quality, cost-effective delivery of results. Use a framework to communicate program and project level details and timelines with employees within WLS and across CB
  • Think strategically and tactically, to design and implement deliverables, with the flexibility to adjust to new innovations, regulations and priorities
  • Implement resource, governance and organization structure to deliver the transformational initiatives as required in order to deliver results in a complex environment
  • Exhibit ownership in managing partnerships by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the CB, including: Risk Operations, Technology, Sales, Wholesale Credit Risk, and Finance and across other LOB’s
  • Effectively communicate at an executive level to provide regular updates to senior leadership of the Commercial Bank and the firm, including presentations, executive summaries and summary metrics
  • Attract and retain the best diverse talent in the competitive market, develop and mentor team
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous expertise and a true passion for process innovation, design, and technology with proven success delivering complex, large scale initiatives
  • Must have 10+ years of experience designing and successfully leading large scale operational change management programs; experience within large Financial Services firms preferred
  • Subject Matter Expert in Lending Product Ownership and System Conversions
  • Demonstrated system migration/consolidation leadership experience in leasing, lending and other commercial product technology platforms
  • Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent judgement and independent decision-making ability   
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management, both written and verbal

  • MBA or related Master’s Degree
